Membership in trade associations is an important commitment in keeping
abreast of todays changing technology. Over the years, David has
been involved in a number to trade associations and today is proud to
be a member of the Industrial Graphics Association for over twenty years.
On May 19, 2001, the California
Association of Business Printers (CABP) held its Annual
Meeting in the beautifully decorated (1930's-1940's Art Deco designed)
Sky Room of the Breakers Hotel in Long Beach. During the installation
of the new officers and board members for the 2001-2002 year, David
Koch was elected and installed as the Vice President and
Chief Financial Officer.
David’s goal during the 2001-2002 term is to assist the board in CABP’s
membership growth and presenting valuable educational programs during
this current techno-logical explosion within our printing industry.
On
January 6, 2001,
David Koch was nominated and elected to the Board of Directors of
the California Association of Business Printers
(CABP). The CABP is affiliated with the Printing
Industry of America's Southern California Association and
was founded as a means to promote education and networking among its
membership. David is delighted in being a part of the CABP team and
ready to assist the current Officers and fellow board members during
his term. Over the years David has served as Vice President and President
of the Los Angeles In-Plant Printing Management
Association (IPMA) and held numerous chair positions with
the Industrial Graphics Association (IGA)
of Southern California.
